To be true to myself has been one of my biggest challenges specially experiencing emotional stress. Living and navigating my experience; to be, act, speak from a space of authenticity required awareness and redirection and above all a good dose of courage and foundational trust that whatever shows up it will always work out.
Learning to ground in what I believe and value was another chapter to experience.
Who am I? What do I believe? What do I want? Such great invitations to start the journey within, to meet the real me, my authentic version beyond the veils and the masks of protection.
Being authentic meant choosing to be vulnerable. To show all sides of me without the fear of being judged. It is surrendering to having to keep up appearances, to be strong and to be present mostly for others all the time. So very exhausting to live behind the masks of protection.
Showing up authentically every day has definitely put me in a position of power. To know for certainty who I am, where I am heading, and what action steps I will take to move ahead and navigate life. Choosing to live consciously and choosing to show up authentically becomes easier with practice. Feeling my inner strength, where decisions and actions will be aligned with my solidified core values.
The question is it possible to be unapologetically who we really are and living from authenticity all the time? Absolutely! I believe the energy behind our intentions will reel us back on track when life does happen as it is happening for usโฆ๐
Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. Itโs about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.
