Whether we are on a journey of growth and change or just wanting to navigate life with more ease, a daily and simple self care practice should  certainly be a non negotiable in our daily routine.

But why is it so hard for so many of us to keep this as an ongoing practice?

When life gets busy it is easy to forget the most important relationship we have with ourselves. Self love and self care are not just indulgences; they are the foundation for our well being, our growth and expansion. They actually support us as we navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience.

A good self care practice invites to move from head to heart, to move from “thinking” to “feeling” life’s experience. To connect with our center and invite trust and allowing it to sink in, each time on a deeper level. Great tool to expand our intuitive muscle as a perfect guide to navigate through life to make aligned decisions and choices…

I invite you to take a moment to reflect on your self-care practice. How does it look like? What activities bring you joy and peace? Remember those things you love to do, the moments of quiet time, the time you spend in nature and maybe the bursts of creativity which are not just pastimes; they are absolutely vital to build a new and solid foundation of your well-being.

So what action steps can you start taking today to enhance your self care practice? How can you make them a non-negotiable part of each and every day?

Could it be by:

🌟Setting positive intentions to begin your day with a moment of mindfulness and carry it with you throughout the day.

🌟Creating a Routine, whether it’s a morning meditation, a mid-day walk, or an evening journal session, establish a self care routine that fills your cup.

🌟Listening to your body and pay attention to your physical needs. Eat nourishing foods, stay hydrated, and get plenty of rest. Move your body in ways that feel good to you.

🌟Engage in joyful activities like doing something every day that makes your heart sing. Like paint, dance, read, garden, or simply sit in nature.

🌟Practice self compassion. As in being kind to yourself. Speak to yourself with love and understanding. To remember that you are worthy of self care and self love/attention.
